TEAM MEMBERSHIP
Subscription is £100 per annum, starting from September each year. To join, simply register online or download a membership form and post to us at: Team Outrageous, 114 The Lakes, Larkfield, Kent. ME20 6GZ
Membership benefits:
As a registered club with British Triathlon Federation (Triathlon England), you will be entitled to reduced entry fees to all BTF / TE registered events, should you join The British Triathlon Federation. You will also get reduced membership of Triathlon England (or Scotland or Wales, should you so choose).
As a subscription member of Team Outrageous, you will get back £50’s worth of entry fees to our events. For example, if you wish to race in one of the many events we will be organising next year, you will be able to “cash-in” some of your £50 “credit”.
For members, the way it works is like this:
You join and want to do our Standard Distance event next July. The entry fee is £60 but as a member you can use £30 of your “credit” to race free. A Saturday race will be £15 not £30, Open Water swimming will be £10 not £20 for a 4K or 8k swim etc.
You will get subsidised team kit, both racing and training, together with great deals on Zone3 wetsuits. We also have a host of other discounts available with Larkfield Cycles and nutrition suppliers.
Membership requirements:
Simple, we would look to members to help run events on a rotational basis, which is predominantly Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. The planned Sunday races at Standard and Half Ironman distance will be marshalled by outside help, so it is possible to race in “our” events. Why travel endless miles to race when you have them on your doorstep and on a course that you will become very familiar with?
Anyone can join; you can be a complete novice or a world champion.
Membership training:
We will continue our existing training throughout the winter and put on more sessions as the membership increases. We are also contracted to Triathlon England to organise Try a Tri and Tri a Duathlon events from September to March 2010. Members will be able to take part free!!
Interested? Please get in touch if you want more details or just “sign-up” and get your membership pack.
